Feeding Instructions

Both types of AXLR8 Restore will come with a long handled gold AXLR8 scoop, which equates to 1 tablespoon (approx 15g flat measure, 20g heaped). Depending on the condition requiring support, we would recommend 1 x scoop daily. If your horse is requiring critical injury support please contact us for advice specific to your needs.

    Whats the difference between XTRA High Potency & DAILY Maintenance?

    Daily Maintenance contains 400g of actives per 1kg and is designed for ongoing nutritional support.

    Xtra Potency contains 925g of actives per 1kg, and includes PEA — making it more suited to periods of acute stress, exertion, or recovery.

    📌 Think of Daily as your “everyday support,” and Xtra as your “recovery-phase support.”

    Why do you include mushrooms?


    These mushrooms are rich in beta-glucans and polysaccharides — bioactive compounds known to support gut resilience, immune balance, and emerging areas of research in feed-based neurological support.

    Added colostrum? Why?

    Great question! There are over 600 studies and counting of multi-species use of plasma and their benefits to overall health & well-being.     What does a nerve issue look like?

    Nerve issues are highly misunderstood in the equine space, as imaging constraints and communication with our horses is not comparable to that of humans. Neuropathic itch, tingling sensations, nerve fire, nerve jolting - the things that humans experience we can communicate with our doctors. Horses, not so much. Ultimately, correct muscle development will support smooth motion of the nerves within the fascia and surrounding tissues.

    Is this for nervous horses?

    No! This is not for anxiety or competition nerves as such. However it is important to note that nerve irritations may present with nervous-type behaviour. Always consult with your veterinarian in the first instance.

    Is AXLR8 Restore Competition Safe?

    Daily is competition-safe and does not contain PEA.

    Xtra Potency contains PEA — a naturally occurring fatty acid amide. While widely used, it may appear on some prohibited substance lists. Always check with your governing body.

    How long does a tub last?

    Each 750g tub provides 30 standard servings (1 heaped scoop daily).

    Both Daily and Xtra come with a custom gold scoop (1 tbsp = ~20g heaped).

    Adjust depending on weight, workload, or your horse’s current condition.
